From the terrace one can hear the soft flowing arize river which meanders through the ch\u00e2teau\u2019s park. From the sparkling swimming pool are dramatic views of the Pyrenees.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis buffs will be thrilled with the hard tennis court. An antique snooker\/ pool table is available indoors, plus a further games room and exercise room which will definitely appeal to the younger set. The environment is very attractive, the Chateau &amp; it's rooms are just  as depicted in the photos &amp; there are pleasant walks to be had 'round about. The nearby village has a boulangerie with lovely cakes! Foix is nearby &amp; has the Intermarche which I recommend. This is a proper and powerful looking building situated at the<a class='wprs_rd_more'>... read more<\/a><span class='wprs_rd_more_text' style='display:none;'> end of a long drive. Very peaceful and with lots of space, facilitites, and things to be done. We were part of a big group and there was plenty of room for every one,either to join in or find a special quiet place of their own.  As we explored we kept finding rooms full of surprises.and then, of course, the Fitness Building was a real &quot;Yikes &quot; look what is here moment. We did take advantage of the dinner prepared by a chef and very good it was too.  I love walk in Fridges and the fact that there were more than enough decent glasses. Our Familly had a proper holiday  helped by the weather and of course the swimming pool. We did take the chance to go for several local drives and spme of the surrounding scenery and road passes were as good as you will find anywhere.
